He completed his undergraduate degree at Southwestern College, in Winfield, KS. Dr. Blatchford attended the University of Kansas Medical School in Wichita, KS and completed his general surgery residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Blatchford returned to Arkansas City in 2008 to begin his practice at South Central Kansas Medical Center. His free time is spent fishing, hunting, exercising, and enjoying family activities with his wife, Dr. Trisha Blatchford, and their two daughters. Dr. Blatchford’s special interests in his practice are minimally invasive procedures, bariatrics, vascular, thoracic, and trauma / critical care surgeries.
