Radio Lane Arkansas City, KS 67005 Biography: Dr. Klaassen completed his undergraduate degree at Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS. He received his MD from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Dr. Klaassen completed his Family Practice residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, where he completed an extra year of the Chief Resident Fellowship. Dr. Klaassen has been a Board Certified Family Physician at Ark City Clinic since 1997. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Klaassen spends his time with his family in church, school activities, sports, and music. Dr. Klaassen’s interests in family practice include all facets of life, from beginning to end. He has delivered over 300 babies, including twins and C-section births. Dr. Klaasen has a significant geriatric practice as the medical director of two local nursing homes. Caring for patients both in the hospital and in the clinic, Dr. Klaassen also treats diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, dermatologic problems, and orthopedic problems.
